Did you know some of the noises made by “Ghasts” in the popular game Minecraft were made purely by accident? It was actually the sound designer's cat waking up! Besides interesting backstories, Minecraft has a lot more to offer including: an open world game, amazing gameplay, a place to unleash your creativity, and servers to play with friends!  So if you want an infinite terrain where you can build almost anything you want, a community of friends, and a way to immerse yourself in the game, Minecraft is the game for you; everyone should get a chance to experience the joys of Minecraft.

You should play Minecraft because it offers infinite terrain. This means you can explore almost anywhere and there will be no limits or boundaries. Minecraft is a wonderful sandbox game because of the amount of creativity it gives you. You could build a castle, an underground bunker, or just a nomad hut. The only goal is to survive. And even if you don't survive, you can always respawn. Minecraft has modes for all people. For those who want to create and for those who want a more realistic experience with the game.  You can choose between creative mode and survival mode. Creative mode is a mode where you can fly, and have unlimited resources so you can build anything you want. Survival mode is a more realistic mode where you have a health bar and limited resources. One version of Minecraft for the computer is written completely in java, which allows you to make changes to the game, add cool items, and so much more. These are the reasons why Minecraft is such a great game.

Minecraft is a game with a very large community with fans from around the world. It has all sorts of multiplayer servers including Mineplex and Hypixel. Minecraft is the perfect place to play with friends. If you're not fond of playing on the big servers you can host your own and get your friends to join. According to Business of Apps, “there were 131 million monthly active users in 2020.” Hypixel is an example of a really big server with thousands of players. They have games for all people including fast paced sky wars or peaceful skyblock. You should play some games and make some friends! If you don't enjoy  playing big servers and just want a place for friends, you can make your own server! You can either use minecraft realms, Mojang's official server hoster, or use a third party server hoster. This way you can play with all your friends! Minecraft’s servers are a good way to make friends and play together.

Minecraft is an escape to immerse yourself in another world; you can create whatever you want and build connections with friends and family. I think it pulls me in because of the ability to do whatever you want. For example, yesterday I played for 6 hours without even knowing it! After I was done, I didn’t even realize it had been hours. I was playing with friends in the game “Bedwars.” Bedwars is a team survival game involving resource management, strategy, and a lot of skill. I also went to a bridging server to practice my bridging skills. In addition, I also checked on my minions and my resources in the game skyblock. Playing Minecraft builds connections with your friends and family because you can play with them and you can build things with them. For instance, I built a basic house for my brothers and they built an extension on the side of my house. Playing Minecaft with my younger brothers is a way to be nice to them. This is why Minecraft immerses me.

Even though some people say Minecraft's graphics are simplistic, there are many ways to enhance your experience including textures, shaders, and modpacks! Many people who have been playing games with state of the art graphics complain Minecraft's graphics are not up to date. But there are many ways to enhance your experience. First, textures change the look of blocks and mobs. You could get cartoony texture packs, or realistic 1028p texture packs, there are many options to choose from. Second, shader packs are add ons that change the graphics by giving the base game shadows and animations for everything. From parallaxing water to bright and vibrant sun rays, shaders have all the realism you could want. Third, if you don't care about the graphics being realistic, mods can help change gameplay. Burgers, airplanes, and whatever you want can all be added using mods. These are the three main ways you can enhance your Minecraft experience.

Minecraft is one of the best infinite terrain sandbox video games, no matter if you are playing in creative mode or survival mode, or with versions made completely in java. Minecraft is a game with a very large community with fans from around the world and all sorts of multiplayer servers including Mineplex and Hypixel; if you don’t like playing on the big servers you can host your own and get your friends to join. Minecraft is an escape to immerse yourself in another world; you create whatever you want and build connections with friends and family.  Minecraft is an entrance to a massive sandbox video game with a humongous community and all kinds of servers, mods; whatever you want.
